We started in the ferry line. The line got longer than the ferry's.

In 2019 Hazel sold buns out of her hatchback to people waiting for the Crofton boat. By August, drivers were showing up an hour early. Not for the ferry.

Now there's a shop, a proper deck oven, and one rule: if your boat starts loading, we run your bag to the ramp.

    Yes. Order by 8pm and your bag waits at the counter from 5:30am, name on the front, still warm.

    If the boat starts loading while you're in line, tell us your car colour. Someone in an apron will find you.

    Your pre-order moves to the next boat. Or eat it in the car. We won't tell anyone.

    Almond butter tarts and a buckwheat loaf on weekends. It's a small kitchen, so we can't promise zero crossover.

    The patio is dog-friendly and there's a water bowl by the bikes. Biscuits are free and, frankly, pretty good.
